How do you remove deposits of salts from clay pots?
Soak in a solution of one part bleach to nine parts water; this will not completely remove the salts from the clay pot. If the pots are in bad condition from salt build up, it would be best to start with new pots. The pots could also be buried in soil over the winter and they will leach out from natural rain.

Public school annual competition arbitration for the coming Annual Amateur Flower & Vegetable Competition "2010" will be as follows:    

  • Workshop for teachers to clarify the conditions and laws of the Student Competition at Bahrain Garden Club in  Juffair on 22 December, 2009.
  • Arbitration Competition for "School Gardens" in the period between 1-4 February, 2010.
  • Arbitration Competition for "Basket of Vegetables & Flowers" in the period between 8-11 February, 2010.
